romania is a country which never made a difference to the other nations of the world , due to the fact that it never had an independent history . the pages that have been written over the years with a history that we like to call ours are nothing else but a clear reflection of the theory that , whatever makes the past , the distant times or the future predominate over the present , advances us in the dignity of thinking beings , applied to robots .
while other nations were spreading their hands across the sky of existentialism from the highest peaks , romanians were drowning in a handful of dust , because we warmly embraced democracy . and democracy consists of choosing your dictators after they have told you what they think you want to hear .
its true that i am not a patriot , but as a rational being , living in a real world , i have to accept these lamentable views about my country.
